Making projects credible
The most common failing on Indian fresher resumes is a project list of tutorial clones — the same food delivery app, the same weather dashboard, the same MNIST classifier. Reviewers have seen thousands and discount them entirely.
- Choose problems that are yours — something in your college, your city, your hobby, your family's business
- Deploy it, and put the live link on the resume
- Write a README with the problem, the architecture, the trade-offs and screenshots

Placement percentage rules that catch people out
Many companies visiting campuses set hard floors — commonly 60% or 70% throughout Class 10, Class 12 and the degree, with no active backlogs. State your CGPA and its scale ('8.2/10'), give the percentage conversion if your college publishes one, and give complete dates.
